Iain has been a Reader at Aldham since 1990 and Treasurer since 1992.
He retired from teaching Computer Science at the University of Essex in September 2001, did a spell as a part-time consultant to the South-East Essex College at Southend, and is now fully retired.
Iain is married to Jennifer and they have a daughter Fiona who has given them grandsons Thomas and James, and a son Robert who has produced a granddaughter Marla.
Iain became a Christian at the age of 15 through the ministry of Crusaders (now called Urban Saints) and his local parish church St. Mary's, Cheadle, Cheshire.
Iain and Jennifer came from Manchester to Aldham in 1967 but still regard themselves as exiles from the North! After 38 very happy years living in Aldham they have moved into the Lexden area of Colchester.
Iain sings with Witham Choral Society.
